THE ALLMAN REPORT
I’ve been studying this for awhile now, and I’m going to share everything I know about the possible risks, possible gains, and probable bullshit that you’ve heard out there regarding pumping, as well as an extremely important free resource you definitely want to read before you try pumping for yourself.
If you asked me this question 2 years ago I would have given you a flat, “No.” And that answer would have been based on some pretty extensive research including interviews with urologists and “dick doctors” who do the delicate surgery to repair penis injuries that can result from doing things the wrong way.
These days many men are using pumps just to improve the overall health and circulation in their penis, and as a method for prevention of age-related weakness in their favorite body part… and my view on it has become more complicated.
To begin with the positive, penis pumps are a viable and prescribed option for Erectile Dysfunction.
If your body is no longer providing enough pressure to get hard naturally, penis pumps help.
But can they actually IMPROVE penis health so that you achieve better, harder erections even without the pump after regular usage?
There seems to be some pretty good evidence that they can.
Can penis pumps reverse the shrinkage that some men experience as they age?
Again, the answer is complicated.
There are many companies that claim that they absolutely can, and show studies that demonstrate that men regain everything they lost and sometimes even more. And that might make sense. After all, most of the perceived loss in size as we age is simply because we can’t get as hard as we used to. Less hard = less full = less big.
If the penis pump gets you rock hard like you used to get when you were younger, then it makes sense that you can get all of that size back.
Plus, if there has been actual contraction of the fibrous tissue, then it makes sense that it could be re-stretched to it’s natural size.
But most pumps advertise that they can actually make you bigger (like actual growth) and some claim that, over time, you can actually get MUCH bigger.
Truth or fiction?
Well, several years ago I did my own little unofficial and not particularly scientific study. More than a thousand of my male readers responded to a survey to talk about their results trying out different “enlargement” techniques. The data showed that 9 out of 10 men that tried different methods, from jelqing to pumping, got zero results on the erect size of their penis. (Quite a few men reported in improvements in flaccid size).
Of the sightly more than one in 10 that said they got results, most of those reported no more than a 1/2 inch. I go into more details of that study in my youtube video on jelqing here.
Interestingly, I got a TON of comments on that video over the past couple of years. And many of those comments are from men who said that pumping worked better for them than jelqing.
Now I want to be clear that this is not science, this is not proof, this is not even necessarily something we can call data, because hundreds of thousands of men watched that video and only dozens posted comments. There is no way to draw any conclusions here other than: Some men claim that penis pumps really worked well for them.
Now for the negative side, and a big warning here: Emergency rooms frequently see men who injure themselves jelqing and using pumps. Some of these injuries are quite serious, many of them require SURGERY (let that sink in), and some of them result in permanent damage to the penis.
>> If you decide to pursue pumping, I strongly advise you to get one that has a pressure gauge on it so that you aren’t tempted to overdue it. Unlike overdoing it on bicep curls, you could end up with more than just a little soreness the next day.
What the studies say…
Unfortunately the studies are terrible. If you thought the study war between paleos and vegans was bad, this is far worse, because there is so much less data to find.
The most quoted study on every enlargement site was one that was published in a reputable scientific journal that showed incredible gains from a doctor supervised study using a particular brand of stretching device that used a traction system that you could wear beneath your clothing.
…And then the FTC stepped in and revealed that it was entirely fraudulent, the manufacturer that funded the sham-study was shut down, fines were levied, I believe some arrests were made, and the journal printed a retraction… but the original study is still ALL OVER the internet.
I’ve followed the links from enlargement sites on dozens of other studies that are misquoted or intentionally misinterpreted.
The simple truth is that there is no real motivation for an unbiased university to launch a credible, double-blinded, controlled and randomized study on this subject!
And yet… it’s quite clear to me after all of the comments and emails I’ve gotten from actual men with no reason to lie about it, that some men are getting the results they wanted.
And at this stage, while I can’t possibly draw any conclusions, I think that it is quite possible that pumping is good for the penis circulation and the overall health and hardness of your boners.
As an IMPORTANT side note: I also surveyed many hundreds of my female fans, and every man should know that the vast majority of women are far more interested in “hardness” than “size”. And this not just a small preference. Virtually all women reported that how hard you get it extremely important to their turn on and pleasure, and only a tiny percentage cared about size at all (other than the painful problem of men who are too big).
Personally, I do not use a pump. But if it can help with circulation and hardness, it may be very good option for some men.
As for getting larger, a colleague of mine who has a relationship with a doctor who created his own pump and pumping regimen created an extremely in-depth report on the subject.
If this is something you are seriously considering, you should absolutely read this first.

You should not consider buying a pump without at least reading this first.
